The drum community are mourning the sad demise of one of their own, Drum enthusiast Marco Soccoli. The news of his death flooded the social media early hours of today.
Information reaching our news desk has that popular and legendary drummer, Marco Soccoli (Grappaman1), sadly passed away today, April 14, 2025.
His friends and fans took to social media to pen down a heartfelt tribute to their Icon.
The cause of his death has not been made known to the public as of the time of filing this report.
Marco Soccoli was drummer in glamrock band Ross from New York City. After he retired from active music, Marca started a new career for Vic Firth.
In his words, he wrote: So saddened to hear of the sudden loss of drum industry legend, Marco Soccoli. If you knew him, well, you know…old school, one of a kind, full of stories, merriment, and boundless energy. Many good times together— and here’s a big grappa cheers to you, old pal.
