DJ Maphorisa yesterday, through his official Facebook page, previewed the upcoming remix of Biri Marung, which featured multi-award-winning Nigerian music star Davido.
Recall that Biri Marung, released in December 2024, recorded a massive number of streams, with the song making the Song of the Year 2024. From our latest statistics, Biri Marung’s music video is now sitting on 25 million views on Youtube; that’s quite a huge number.
After sharing the snippet of the project on his official Instagram page, it gained lots of reactions, with many questioning why Davido and other Nigerian artists prefer appearing on remixes of SA hit songs.
