South African singer and songwriter, Tyla went double at the just concluded BET Awards 2024. The music star who delivered a sensational performance went home with a double award.
Tyler who came into the limelight of the entertainment two years ago and made her major breakout in 2023 with Water track won the Best International Act Award and Best New Artiste Award.
While accepting the award on stage Tyla stated that she is dedicating the award to Africa; her family, team, and supporters for being part of her success story.
“This is a great honor to be here. I would like to dedicate this award to Africa,” she said.
“I would also like to dedicate this award to all the African stars who came before me and did not have the opportunities that I have. This is amazing. Africa to the world, my friends.”
